02 · What can be treated

Clinical departments and specialist care

Shanghai lists high-risk pregnancy, fetal medicine, reproductive care, gynecologic oncology and neonatal medicine. Its hospital department pages describe obstetric and multidisciplinary maternal-fetal care. A specialist must evaluate the individual patient and the suitable campus.

03 · Treatment & technology

Procedure-level evidence matters

The hospital describes fetal medicine interventions and obstetric risk management; Shanghai lists assisted reproduction, one-stop fetal medicine and colposcopy. A hospital-provided surgical photograph documents a gynecologic oncology procedure. None implies a procedure is indicated or available at both campuses.

04 · International patients

International patient services

The municipality lists English, Japanese and Korean. A 2026 hospital interview describes international check-up facilities with onsite ultrasound and blood sampling and English reports for its described package. Verify interpreter, delivery or inpatient coordination for the intended campus and appointment.

05 · Appointments

Book through the hospital’s channels

East international line +86 181 1726 4038; West +86 181 1722 4228. Shanghai lists East outpatient service daily 08:00–17:00 and West Monday–Saturday 08:00–17:00; its phone hours are listed 08:00–20:00. A press feature reports walk-in check-ups, but other specialist, delivery and treatment appointments should be confirmed by phone.

06 · First visit

Arriving for your appointment

Confirm East floor 1 or West floor 6 and ask what identification, antenatal records, ultrasound images, lab results, insurance authorization and companion documents are required. The international check-up interview describes onsite imaging and English results for a specific package; confirm that package and the current results schedule.

07 · Emergency

Emergency care and its limits

Neither the published East nor West international OUTPATIENT schedule establishes 24-hour international emergency intake. The hospital obstetric department describes risk-response systems, but the emergency receiving entrance, current hours and foreign-language assistance must be confirmed directly. Call 120 for urgent help.

Check before arrival: The Shanghai municipal listing publishes international outpatient hours only; it does not establish a 24-hour INTERNATIONAL emergency service. Confirm obstetric emergency campus, entrance and intake with the hospital; call 120 in an emergency.

08 · Inpatient & family

Ward services and companions

The hospital provides maternity and neonatal care, but a verified current international ward room catalogue, partner overnight stay, visiting hours, infant feeding policy and meals were not established in reviewed official pages. Confirm the delivery campus and family arrangements ahead of admission.

09 · Costs & insurance

Ask for the current estimate

Current complete international maternity/IVF/surgery price list: Not publicly available in reviewed official pages. A 2026 hospital interview reported a roughly RMB 3,000 hysteroscopy example, not a universal quote or package. Shanghai lists insurers for conditional direct payment; request an itemized campus-specific estimate.

10 · Patient & family logistics

Getting there and moving around
