Clinical departments and specialist care
Beijing’s international medical listing identifies digestive and liver diseases, transplant services, surgical disease, infection, geriatrics, kidney disease, neurological disease, tumors and hematological disease. The Tongzhou center also lists medicine, surgery, gynecology, pediatrics, rehabilitation and other clinics.
Procedure-level evidence matters
The hospital-supplied Tongzhou International Medical Center report specifically lists a metabolic fatty-liver multidisciplinary clinic, endoscopy, CT and ultrasound. The presence of diagnostic equipment does not establish that every test is available to every international outpatient or on every campus.
International patient services
The municipal guide lists English, French, Japanese and Russian. Tongzhou describes medical examinations, outpatient care and international inpatient care. Translation, remote visits and service hours for an individual language need confirmation.

Arriving for your appointment
The Tongzhou hospital guide says to add a patient in the WeChat service account using an ID card, passport or Hong Kong/Macao/Taiwan travel document before choosing International Medical and Tongzhou campus. Bring the document used to register and confirm check-in location and prior medical records.
Emergency care and its limits
The municipal international patient listing states emergency services “Not available.” Do not present an international appointment number as an emergency hotline. For an emergency in Beijing, call 120 and confirm the appropriate receiving emergency department.
Ward services and companions
Tongzhou’s international center moved its wards into phase-two inpatient space in 2024. It describes single rooms and family rooms, each with bathroom, television, refrigerator, water dispenser and Wi-Fi, plus a family rest area. Check present room allocation, overnight companion access and visiting hours.
Ask for the current estimate
Public international-service price list: Not publicly available in reviewed sources. The hospital states international and special outpatient costs exceed ordinary care and many charges are self-pay. Commercial-insurance patients should book by phone or at the clinic and verify coverage first.
Getting there and moving around
Check whether your appointment is at Xicheng, Tongzhou or Shunyi before travelling. The Tongzhou international ward has an area for accompanying family; parking, transport, accessibility, catering, pharmacy and result collection for each campus require a current hospital check.
